Trent and Holly are Lead Pastors at Church of the Coast.  They love to meet new people, to watch their children as they grow up and to try new restaurants.

Trent first felt the drawing of God at age 9.  After “church hopping” and being “church hurt” he believe the lie that a relationship with God was not relevant to life.  At the age of 26 he was drawn into a real relationship with God and filled with the Holy Spirit.  Trent played college football and obtained a law degree which he used to practice law for seven years.  He served in full-time ministry for three years as an associate pastor and evangelist.  He has seen through teams he has lead or co-lead over 13,000 decisions for Christ.

Ms. Holly first made a decision for Christ in a methodist youth camp when she was 12 years old.  She has served as a Young Life leader and Small Group leader discipling scores of young women.  She has also worked as a licensed counselor in an in-house Christian treatment facility.

In 2008 Holly and Trent met while they were graduate students at Regent University.  They were married in December of 2009.   In a period of 2 years and 11 months they have had four children, Sydney, Judah, Josiah & Sarah Grace.

On December 23, 2014 God began birthing the call to plant a church in their hearts.  Neither had ever dreamed of becoming church planters, but after great confirmation, prayer and planning they moved to Pinellas County in July of 2016.  They are working to build a launch team and on January 22, 2017 will launch Church of the Coast.
